Below, we outline the steps to sign up for a StraitsX Singapore Personal Account.

Step 1: Fill in your details

Fill in your personal details. This includes your full name as stated in your Identification Card (NRIC), your email address, and your password.

Please note you can only sign up for a StraitsX Personal Account for yourself. You cannot sign up on behalf of someone else. 

StraitsX will use your provided email address to communicate with you about your account activity, new account features, and new product launches. We will only use your details and email address in accordance with our privacy policy.

Step 2: Confirm your password & our terms of service

Your StraitsX Personal Account will hold your funds. As such, it is vital that you choose a strong password to safeguard it. We strongly recommend using a password manager to secure your account.

Step 3: Check for the verification email 

Please check your inbox for the verification email. If you are unable to locate it, please check your spam folder.

We require that all StraitsX Account holders add two-factor authentication (2FA) to their account. This helps secure your account and its funds. 

Step 6: Integrating the authenticator app with your StraitsX Personal Account

The final step is to integrate your chosen authenticator app with your StraitsX Personal Account. You may choose to scan the QR code, or input the one-time code. 

Please make sure that the device name on your authenticator app is correctly labelled. This will ensure that you input the correct code when you want to access your StraitsX Personal Account.
